Education and Leadership Incentives

Individual Recognition

Members who achieve educational or leadership awards in 2008-2009 receive a personal congratulatory postcard from District Governor Michael Jue.
Educational achievements are recognized in the Hall of Fame Ceremony twice a year, at the Fall and Spring Conferences, and published every other month in Toast of the Coast.

DTM medallions are provided to every new DTM recipient at each District Conference.

Vice-President of Education Contest

District ONE is looking for the most outstanding VP of Education for the January-June 2009 term. The winner and two runners-up will be announced at the Awards and Installation Brunch in August 2009. He/she must complete the mandatory items to qualify. The VP of Education with the most points submitted for the six month term will receive a prestigious plaque in recognition of his/her achievement.

Club Recognition

Clubs attaining 5 Distinguished Club Program goals by December 31, 2008, will receive a $15 TI store gift certificate.
7 DCP goals by December 31, a $20 TI store gift certificate.
9 DCP goals by December 31, a $30 TI store gift certificate.

Clubs with 100% of officers trained at the Toastmasters Learning Institute (TLI) on January 17, 2009, will receive a $50 TI store gift certificate.
Clubs with 100% of officers trained before February 28, 2009, will be given a handsome ribbon for the club banner.

Area Governor Recognition

District ONE offers special accolades for Area Governors with 100% officers trained in their areas.

LEADERSHIP

Member leadership contributions will be recognized at the annual Awards and Installation Brunch.
